Looking for a portable speaker that truly was portable and easy to use...the orbit fit perfectly into my lifestyle...small/compact easy to carry and still gave great sound...clear even with the volume at max...not at all tinney and scratchy....very happy with this choice....

Sure does work on a Mac , just make sure USB source is ticked in system preferences .

It looks pretty cool and I was excited to try it out but it didn't work on my MacBook Pro. Nowhere does it indicate that this does not work on a MAC. I mean, NOWHERE! Not even on-line in their specs!!!!!!
That's a big problem marketing wise.

Just picked up one of these gems, plugged it into the USB port of my netbook and grinned. Solves my issue of tiny sounds while listening to video/audio. Well designed unit/carrying strap and case. Recommended.

I love this portable speaker !! Bought it for my netbook Samsung NC10.
Now its i great pleasure to listen to music !! No need for batteries. just USB plug.
