I got this for Christmas to use by the pool and the sound quality is great it’s loud enough for our whole back yard especially if your phone volume is all the way up. The bass is awesome and we love it at night with the light up features. Charging last 4-5 hours which is great. Biggest downside which in my opinion is a big no no - the Bluetooth range is only about a foot to a foot and a half. If I want to use my phone I have to be right next to the speaker which kind of sucks. It breaks up if someone walks in front on of it unless your phone is basically rested on top of it. Fix this feature and we have zero problems

Very flat sound, no high end missing tweeter.
Altec Lansing is an old name that’s lost quality sound in recent years. This could be so much better but they cut corners and used mid range speakers that need help reproducing sound quality. No tweeters to bring out the high notes so you get muddy flat sound.

Not as good as I expected
The speaker did not hold charges although i left it plug in for an entire night and was not as loud as i thought especially for that price. My $8 speaker from the family dollar does a better job and last days without charging. Would not rec this speaker for that price.

Charger port sensitive, speakers can’t handle base.
Super sensitive charging port. New out of box and if you bump or move speaker slightly it will stop charging.
