This is a fantastic speaker. It put out a lot of bass in the music. I had it set up on a table, and it was literally booming and rattling the table. And that wasn't even at full power. This offers excellent sound quality and loudness."
Sonic Book arrived defective, would not charge, loud bass rumble if operated plugged in .I ordered one from Amazon and it arrived in the same defective state. I then ordered one directly from Altec Lansing, believing they would have a good product, but it too was defective. I had a Sonic Boom for several years and loved it, but would not order it again.

Lacking punch
A couple things about the speaker. First is the price was right. The waterproof phone storage compartment wasn't big enough for my phone or anybody else's. The sound is great - its max volume disappoints. I expected a little for such a good looking speaker from, as you are a prestigious corporation.

Defective
It wouldn't charge and I sent it back. I requested a replacement because I know this is a good product. I'm waiting for a replacement and a tracking number for the new shipment.

Faulty Speaker
I ordered the sonic boom speaker. The speaker looked really good on the outside but the battery was bad and would not hold a charge at all. Currently going through warranty claim to get a new speaker.
