If you have an older child who is very careful with the headphones, they are great. Unfortunately, we are on our second pair of headphones and on the second time of the earpiece coming off the headphone. My 4yo is using them during nap time on school, nothing crazy or destructive. But the earpieces are almost impossible to get back on, so once they are off, you're pretty much out of luck. Altec sent us a new pair after the first time we had the earpiece come off, but at this point we will just look elsewhere for more durable headphones.

The battery only last 2-3 hours the sound is good it charges over night. Works good just doesn’t last as long as I feel it should

Surprisingly Good!
I took this speaker along with me to the park to play frisbee golf. I like the size and portability and used the included carabiner to clip it to my hydration pack. This speaker can actually get pretty loud considering the size but I kept it at volumes where my friends and I could hear the music but still carry on a conversation without yelling. The sound is also pretty good for a speaker this size although there is a pretty sharp rolloff at both the low and high end frequencies. You are not going to get super hifi sound from this but you will get pleasant, easy to listen to and enjoyable listening sessions from this little unit. Connectivity is good and the controls at top are easy and intuitive to use. The battery easily lasted the three hours of our game and I still have battery life left. This speaker is durable and I wasn’t worried about it clipped to my hydration pack even when I dropped it on the ground. I do wish there were some sort of grill or guard for the rubber passive bass radiator on the back. One fun thing I did with this speaker is hold the passive radiator up to the outside of the big 55 gallon plastic garbage cans on the course. The garbage cans acted as bass cabinets and made the bass sound significantly deeper and louder!!! I am very happy with this speakers audio performance, low weight, portability, and ease of use.
